oh! It's been one week since I have blogged?

if the SH had not asked me last night, I wouldn't have remembered. What have I been busy with the past 7 days?

Friday: FCC reunion dinner! Was nice but pity we couldn't hang around after that. Would have love to chill out with either the Ezerites or the Plushies or just anyone we do not come in regular contact with. heehee. SH and I had to drop by a dear friend's surprise birthday thingy after that at Dempsey's Hacienda. Cosy lil place.

Saturday: Caught a movie "The Serious Man" with the serious woman, the SH and had lunch together. haha.. Gave tuition and then met the Ozzie group of friends for dinner at Blooie's. Very unhealthy food. Then met the SH. She was my driver for the weekend. So kind.

Sunday: Skipped Covenant today and went to FCC only. There was a meeting for IWD after that.

Went viewing The Vista with the SH.. So spacious and pretty.. I like.. but so expensive.. I will do very well not to succumb to impulsive buying with the SH around. She's good..

Went home for a while to rest and collected about $22 worth of AngPow from Mum's friends. Made up my mind to restrict my daily hours online to just 2 hours (which I bargained to 3 the same evening). For Lent. So time can be used more constructively these 40 days. I packed my marking so I could stay out to mark after badminton. Karaoke with Mum's friends at home isn't going to help the speed at which I finish my marking. And I finished my stack of marking! Yay. Was home by 1030p.m.

Monday:

Went for the usual 45 minutes swim. Felt myself praying for each person for a longer period of time. Gathered some insights and revelations during the swim too. If only I could remember what they were. Sometimes, I wish I can connect my brain to my journal/blog.

Practised a bit of guitar to look for songs for worship during prayer meeting. Those I had chosen previously didn't seem quite suitable afterall.

Had crabs for dinner with the SH using my M1 birthday Month 1 for 1 offer. It was also to celebrate our 11th monthniversary. :) Went to Courts for a short walk after that. The SH wanted to get me something. Something very thoughtful. Such a SH. We headed to R's place for a drink and had a short chat with them. Opened the white I got for the SH some moons back. It was good. Pity none of us could drink much. The SH doesn't like Chardonnay. She prefers Sauvignon Blanc. :)

F sent the songs to be played during CG. Easy songs to play. So that's good.

Tuesday:

I had a song. Not through flipping the chord book, not through listening to the song. I have not even sung that song in church in years! But I just started humming it and tada! I looked for it in the song book and it sounded a bit too serious for the inaugaral prayer meeting. But I thought since it seemed like the song was God given, I decided to stick to it after talking to the SH for a bit.

CG was a good time. The action song, the sharing, the laughter, the seeing of familiar faces, the game, the learning.. all so nice. Made my tiny heart feel like exploding from the joy of seeing everyone.

Wednesday:

I was still selecting the songs for worship for prayer meeting. I was that desperate that I was even praying during Staff Contact Time, thinking about what songs are appropriate and good. And then! The network at work did not work so i could not print out the lyrics. In any case, I couldn't print anything out because I still did not have the songs! Finally, when I was at home and still asking God for the other song, Draw me Close sounded just nice. Then I had to text this person, that person to ask if they were going for prayer meeting so they could print out the lyrics for me. The SH said I could pick it up from her office about 15 minutes drive away. Actually, I could have saved it on my thumbdrive and brought it down to Lot 1 to print out, but I reckon I would save the trouble and ask my neighbour if I could print 5 copies instead.

Today:

I was at work for the full day from 7a.m. till 1.30p.m.! Needed to collate the exam papers and finish up some marking. 3/4 load on half pay, like what J said last night. But I am happy and contented. :D

Practising the melody line of Run, after W mentioned we will most likely be doing that for IWD. It's pretty cool. I am getting quite a kick out of figuring out the notes on my semi-acoustic guitar. But I have not played on the electric guitar seriously before. Anyhow, YOUTUBE is fabulous!

And I am surfing for second hand electric guitars now.

Looking forward to badminton later. 2 slots. One at 7p.m. (booked by mistake) and another at 9p.m. Ah well.. I didn't exercise on Tues and Wed.

TGIF SOON!!! I was glad I got to work today.. Just so tempting...
