Just received the results of my comprehensive health screening. The results are generally good. I was pretty thankful that my HDL level is very high and that my LDL is very low. :) Cholesterol level is thus very healthy and I am at a low risk of getting coronary heart disease. Those who know how much I eat and the kind of food I eat will find that amazing too. I guess regular exercise really does help. :)
However, I had better go to the family doctor for her to study the report. It seems that I have a risk of getting kidney disease. My Albuman to Creatine Ratio is high from the urine test and there are leucocytes present in my urine. Since a high albuman ro creatine ratio means an increased risk of developing kidney damage and the presence of leucocytes in the urine means a possible urinary tract (which also consists of the kidneys) infection, there might be a cause for concern.
Also, I have the Ebstein Barr Virus (EBV) infecton. Persons infected with the EBV virus have an increased risk of developing NPC (Nasopharyngeal carcinoma- nose cancer). They said to have an urgent follow up. My dad went for an operation a few years ago to remove some tumour stuff in his nose. The doctor did mention that it could be genetic. Yeh. So. Shall visit the doctor soon.
I have been studying the report for the past hour. :) Time to stop.
